Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity, Inc.—Xi Chapter was chartered at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor on October 24, 1991. Today, Xi Chapter continues to build a lifelong brotherhood centered on personal growth, cultural identity, leadership, service, social connection, and professional development.

Cultural identity

Lambda Phi Epsilon is a historically Asian-interest fraternity that promotes Asian American awareness and creates community across different Asian identities. Membership is open to people of every ethnicity, race, religion, and creed.
Philanthropy and service
Expanding the possibility of a life-saving match.
Lambda Phi Epsilon supports NMDP, formerly Be The Match and the National Marrow Donor Program, through blood-stem-cell and marrow-donor registration and awareness. This work is especially important for increasing the representation of ethnically diverse donors and supporting patients affected by leukemia and other blood disorders.

Alumni network
Xi Chapter connections extend far beyond Ann Arbor.
Xi Chapter is part of an international brotherhood of approximately 10,000 initiated members, including roughly 9,000 alumni. Brothers remain connected through mentorship, chapter advising, graduate chapters, service, friendship, and professional relationships.
Xi Chapter was part of Lambda Phi Epsilon’s early national expansion. Xi alumnus Mike Feng later served as the fraternity’s eighth national president during 1998–99.
